The bulk of this subscription book, fos. 1–44, covers the period from 5 June 1710 to 5 Mar 1714. Then there is a gap until 21 May 1720, after which occasional subscriptions have been entered until 1805.
D1/22/9 Subscription book 1715–23, 1727The subscriptions only of curates and schoolmasters have been extracted from this volume; subscriptions of incumbents and dignitaries have been ignored. The bulk of this document, fos. 20r–117r, relates to the episcopate of Bishop Talbot. At the end there are a few stray subscriptions on institution and one schoolmaster from the periods of Bishops Willis and Hoadly.

D1/48/1 Diocese book 1680The diocese book compiled by Seth Ward following his visitation of the diocese of Salisbury in 1680 contains information about the parishes of the diocese, giving the name of the incumbent, whether a clergyman is licensed to preach (most are), whether he is a pluralist, the name of the curate (where one is employed), sometimes the date of licensing of the curate, and occasionally other miscellaneous information. All of this information has been extracted. There are also details about the state of the churches, which has not been extracted.
